10TH AMSAY CONFERENCE SHIFTS TO 10TH OF JUNE

By Omenihu Alfred fibmn

The management of platform Communications wishes to inform the general public that the 10th Annual Maritime Students & Youth Conference (AMSAY Conference) earlier scheduled to hold on Wed, May 27, 2026 is hereby postponed to Wed, June 10, 2026.

In a press release dully signed by the Convener, Sylvanus Obasi and the Chairman central planning committee Nnamdi Eronini, the postponement became necessary because May 27 falls on Ileya Muslim festival and the federal government plans to declare that day public holiday. Hence, we deemed it necessary to shift the event date so our Muslim faithful will be able to participate in the event after their festivities.

We regret any inconveniences this changes might cause to all our invitees, although we believe it’s for the greater good.

The 10th AMSAY Conference will now hold as follows:

DATE: Wed, June 10, 2026.
VENUE: Mission To Seafarers, 29 Marine Road, Apapa-Lagos.

This notice will also be communicated  formally to all invited maritime schools and students, government agencies, private companies,  professional bodies, resource persons and all stakeholder groups through our official channel of communications.
